Would you quit YOUR job?

So, if you won a gazillion dollars in the lottery, would you quit your job? I recently had a discussion about this topic with some friends. I didn’t have to think about it. I wouldn’t quit either…teaching or writing. They are both difficult endeavors, but I just could not walk away from either one. At least not now. How about you? Would you quit your present job if you won the lottery? If so, what would be your new focus in life?

About ten years ago, I had some pretty serious eye surgery that required me to be laid up home for one month. Just one month. It drove me crazy. It was an epiphony for me – I would never have guessed it, but I missed wprk. I don’t know if it was the stimulus of my job, the people I enjoyed working with, or just being confined to bed, but it made me realize that I am a type that must be kept busy.,

Quiting would not be an issue since I’m already retired. Of course, if I was still working, there would be no question…out the door ASAP! But in my case today, it wuld really be a matter of where will I travel to first and how would I travel…plane, train or automobile!

Hmm, don’t think I would leave my job of stay-at-home mom or kindergarten lunch supervisor … but I would use the gazillion to buy me out of tasks I don’t like ! (Cleaning lady here I come !)
