Bitty Book Review Blurb, The Dog That Talked To God, by Jim Kraus

The Dog ThatI read a good amount of Christian fiction and every once in a while I come across something different, something unexpected. I enjoyed The Dog That Talked to God, because it didn’t follow the tried and true formula for inspirational fiction. I mean, we’ve got a talking dog here. The protag is a woman who has experienced a tragedy which leaves her estranged from God until Rufus the terrier comes into her life. A talking dog, you say? Corny? No, and that was the refreshing surprise. I enjoyed the journey through this book and found it a breath of fresh air in a market crowded with books all trying to be different in the same way.

  1. Hi Dana, sounds interesting. I was browsing on Amazon and I realized you wrote some of the Love Inspired Suspense series. My friend Christy Barritt has written a few of that series also. She lives in the same city as I do, here in Virginia. Small world.
