Man, could I use a vacation. How about you? I mean with books to write, report cards to work on, the yard to prep for winter and those ominous reminders about how many days are left until Christmas, it’s no wonder I could use a fun trip! Sadly, this is not going to happen, but a girl can dream right? Here’s a fun quiz which is supposed to match your fall personality with the perfect getaway location.

    Anywhere in the Blue Ridge; Shenandoah National Park is amazing n the fall.

    I got Home at it fitting. Usually I’m really sceptical with that kind of test because they seldome fit – a nice exception 🙂

    Burlington, Vermont

    You’ve already embraced the new season of burnt sienna tinged leaves with open arms and a pair of sensible, yet fashionable gloves. You know where your favorite scarf is and you can’t wait to take off in search of the majesty of nature! From fir trees to fire-pits, from roasting chestnuts, to toasting marshmallows, this is one season that suits you down to the ground! For some of the finest foliage around, take off for Burlington, Vermont on the edge of Lake Champlain and ask the locals for the best scenic drives and covered bridges in the area and even where’s best to spot a moose!

    I love the colors and the way the leaves crunch under my feet when i walk. 🙂 I live in the mountains so I get to see all the colors changing each year. Driving around especially in the mountains being able to see the spectacular view is awesome. I love bon fires during this time of year, roasting marshmallows and spending time with family and friends, that’s what makes it all better. Taking a vacation to another state to experience the same thing would be awesome. I have never been to Vermont. I think I would take my best friend and we could make an adventure out of it 🙂 The only thing about fall and the weather changing is that my sinuses act up and I am more prone to getting sick . I think that is what is trying to happen as I type this, but I have been drinking hot tea and staying warm as best as I can 🙂

    Your entranceway is bedecked with ‘mums’ of all colors and a few harvest gourds. There are corn stalks standing sentinel either side of your front door, and you’re infusing your house with the smell of spiced pumpkin candles! You are the destination for your fall season!
    For you, fall is all about opening your door and welcoming family, friends and furry pets into your celebration. You value the comforts of home and you know how to entertain guests! The fire is lit, your decorations are up, so sit back and relax and welcome those who are coming home to visit!

    I’ve been to the North East in the fall and the colors are so vibrant and beautiful! I don’t necessarily need to be home in the fall even though that’s what I got in the quiz.

    After living in Montreal for 5 years, nothing beats fall in the Northeast. I had loved visiting Burlington, Vermont, because it reminded me of my hometown in the Pacific Northwest (Bellingham, WA)

    Epcot. Bay Lake, Florida I don’t really think that is where I go. I would rather be in the mountains where it is cool and the leaves are changing color. This was fun, though.

    Burlington, Vermont! Funny….my hubby and I are planning a trip there next fall! Since we live in Oregon, we’ve been wanting to go to the opposite side of the country to see the fall colors (even though we have gorgeous colors here!) and we just decided recently to go to Vermont next year!

    For you, fall is all about the celebration! With festivals popping up in every town, you enjoy giving thanks for plentiful crops, for the perfect pumpkin, for hay bale rides, and corn maze quests. Nothing says “fall” to you like crisp blue skies, warm sweaters and boots crunching through leaves in search of a warm spiced apple beverage. For fall fun, festival style – head over to Pennsylvania where all things “apple” are celebrated on the first two weekends of October at the annual National Apple Harvest Festival. Scrumptious!

        Dana, I’ll be sure to save you a spot next to me on the hay bale ride & have a piping cup of apple cider waiting for you! Then maybe explore the pumpkin patch or get lost in the corn maze & then check out the fall produce displays….now wouldn’t that be fun? 🙂

        Awesome, but you’ll have to come find me in the maze. I have a terrible sense of direction! My kids have to tell me where I parked at the mall! 🙂

        We’d just get lost together then! I’m terrible at directions too 🙂 Whenever I’ve been through a corn maze with my sister-in-law, we take along my niece (her daughter) because she’s the expert at navigating us through it…lol!
        As far as the car, if I can’t remember, I just hit my panic button on my keyfob listen for the horn and look for the blinking lights…haha!!

    I’m really not a big fan of fall… The temps get cooler & it signifies that winter is just around the corner. :/ So no, this is not “one season that suits me down to the ground”— that, my friend, would be summer! 😉
